Nursing CE Provider Requirements by State
Our CA CEP courses are accepted by many state boards of nursing across the country. Find your state’s requirements below.
Registered Nurse (RN)
- 30 contact hours per renewal cycle (24 months)
- No limit on online/home study hours
- Implicit Bias content included in all CA CEP BRN courses (required since 2023)
Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- 30 contact hours per renewal cycle (24 months)
- DEA MATE Act: 8 hrs one-time training
- Implicit Bias content included in all CA CEP BRN courses (required since 2023)
- 3-hr CE for Schedule II privileges
Note: As of 2023, Implicit Bias information must be included in all CA CEP BRN courses. All of our courses meet this requirement. Our courses are accepted by numerous state boards of nursing — view the State Directory for your state’s specific requirements.
